How do I look for an accommodation?

When looking for an accommodation in House and Flats, you can use the available filters to limit the results. You can also check the descriptions of the ads to see if they fit what you're looking for.

You can also save your favorite housings in your Profile to go back to consult them at another time or share them with your friends.

How do I know if an accommodation is available?

When searching for an accommodation, there is the search date filter. So all the accommodations that appear published under that filter will be available.

What does the type of room that appears in an advertisement mean?

House and Flats has an offer to meet the needs of any guest, so there are different types of accommodation:

How can I find out if a accommodation is pet friendly?

When you enter to see an accommodation, you can see in the characteristics if the host allows pets.

What happens if the host cancels my reservation?

House and Flats will use its maximum effort to provide a satisfactory solution for the guest. The reasons and causes of the cancellation will be investigated, and there may be a reprimand, a fine or a withdrawal of the host from our website. On the other hand, the guest will be offered re-accommodation solutions in an accommodation with similar characteristics and prices.

I can’t get in contact with the host.

After a successful reservation, host's background (mail, number, profile) is displayed.

In case the host can’t be contacted, the guest must tell House and Flats. We are going to do our best effort to establish a communication between guest and host.

Can I see the accommodation before booking?

When you enter to an accommodation through the site, you can see pictures and basic information of it.

House and Flats requires their hosts to publish reliable pictures of their accommodations. Those are supported by a prior visit of the publication by our collaborators. They corroborate the status of the accommodation, their pictures and inventory.

Why is my reservation declined, if the accommodation is available?

The reservation can be rejected for several reasons:

Can I send a message to a host without making a reservation?

No, House and Flats policy keep privacy of our hosts and guests restricted. In this way we make sure that there is no misuse of the information. This is why contact between hosts and guests is possible only after a successful booking.

If I cancel, can I get a full refund?

The reservation may be canceled, however, the refund of the amount paid will depend on the anticipation of the cancellation in relation to the day of beginning of the reservation, according to the following table:

Between 20 and 30 days 50%
Between 10 and 20 days 30%
Less than 10 days 0%
   

How do I cancel my reservation?

You must contact House and Flats by mail.

The reservation may be canceled, however, the refund of the amount paid will depend on the anticipation of the cancellation in relation to the day of beginning of the reservation, according to the following table:

When I will be charged for the reservation?

It will be paid automatically after use of any of our payment methods.
